Contact Form 7 For WordPress. Easy, Flexible And Works A Treat!

February 21st, 2010 by Ciaran

If there’s one thing every website needs is a way for site visitors to make contact with the site owners. Whether it is to make a complaint, to look for help, or to provide helpful feedback, a contact form is mandatory.

wordpress contact form 7

I personally use Contact Form 7. This provides a very useful yet flexible contact form plugin for WordPress.

You also need to download another plugin called “Really Simple CAPTCHA”. This provides protection against spamming. Believe me you don’t want to go without it.

The contact form is so flexible that it has its own tag syntax. This allows you to build up your own forms to suit your own personal requirements.

For example, want to solicit a checkbox field, then its as simple as [checkbox your-country “China” “Ireland” “Spain” “France”].

The inbuilt syntax allows for fields such as email, checkbox, radio, text, email, textarea, CAPTCHA and file upload/attaForm chment. Each contact filled in is then sent to your email address.

There’s many other solutions available to add a contact form to WordPress. Try them out if you have time. However if you want a quick solution that just works and is flexible then try Contact Form 7 for WordPress.

Do you recommend any other Contact Form alternatives? If so then why not share your experience in the comments below…
